Rita Branquinho Lobo, Head of Legal of Novabase and of Celfocus, was recently distinguished in the seventh edition of the Iberian Gold Awards in the category of In-House Counsel of the Year Services & Consultancy. These awards recognize the excellence of professionals who hold in-house positions in Portugal and Spain in areas such as Legal, Taxes, Human Resources and Finance.
The main purpose of the initiative, sponsored by the Iberian Legal Group, is to foster competitiveness in the business world by recognizing the excellence of leading players in the company’s legal sector, thanks to their results over the course of 2023.
The award in Services & Consultancy was given to Rita Branquinho Lobo, who said that “This distinction is an acknowledgement of the work of a dedicated and committed team that I am very proud of.” She goes on to say that “The work done over the years has been a constant challenge, which has intensified due to the variety of regions in which our business operates and the never-ending developments in technologies over the past 15 years, making it critical for us to always be on the cutting edge of innovation.” The awards ceremony was held yesterday, 7 November, in Madrid.
